As part of our vision for a sustainable, local food system, we are offering Meat and Egg shares on an annual basis. A major step in taking charge of a steady, helthy food supply for your family starts with some thought and planning in advance of the time to purchase. From a farmer’s point of view, it will be very helpful to know on a yearly basis how many and what type of livestock need to be raise to satisfy our customer’s needs. From the customer’s point of view, there should be considerable peace of mind in knowing that you have secured a safe and delicious food source for your family. At the same time, you are supporting a local farm family and keeping your money circulating within your community!

Pricing

You can expect to save up to 20% by purchasing your meat through the CSA packages as compared to purchasing incrementally from our farm sales or Farmers Markets and even more by ordering further discounted additional items.

PAYMENT

10 pound shares

$100.00 deposit to reserve a share – your deposit will reserve your place and be applied to the cost of your share. Balance due in full at first month’s delivery.

20 pound shares

$200 deposit to reserve a share – your deposit will reserve your place and be applied to the cost of your share. $300 payment due at first month’s delivery and the balance due within 90 days.

Why Pay in Full?

Paying in full gives us the working capital to purchase our livestock and feed in bulk and pass these saving on to you. You also benefit by paying in one payment because it allows you renew your membership next year without being put on a waiting list.

DELIVERY

We will deliver at the end of the first full week of every month at four convenient locations:

Thursday     11:15 AM to 12:00 PM     River City Food Co-op
Thursday     12:00 PM to 12:45 PM     Montessori School

Friday            7:00 AM to 1:00 PM        Evansville Farmers Market

Saturday       9:00 AM to 5:00 PM        Stonewall Farm

NOTE: A minimum of 10 subscribers are required before we will deliver to a new location, so encourage your family, friends and co-workers to sign up!

When we receive your form and payment, we will confirm your membership with an email.
