Stonewall Farm offers a limited amount of locally raised grass fed beef by the cut or in bulk as freezer meat. One taste and you’ll be convinced that our mixed Angus beef is the best tasting, healthiest, locally raised beef that you’ve every had.
People want to know where their food comes from and they want to know that it is safe and healthy to eat. That is one reason that we offer you a local source of great tasting beef that is free from hormones, antibiotics, or animal by-products. Our beef is process locally at your choice of USDA and State inspected family butchers.
At Stonewall Farm we have found that while our steers live most of their lives on the pasture, it takes finishing them off on grain to give them that superior beef taste. Finished beef has a very slight marbleing that gives you that great tender taste that you’ve come to expect from very fine cuts of beef. Our experience has shown us that without a slight finish at the end of the growing season, 100% grass fed beef may be not so tender, a little dry, and it can be easily over cooked.
