The Stonewall Farm Difference
Since 2007, Stonewall Farm has been providing local, all-natural meats to Southern Indiana. Our standard is excellence, from the pasture land that the animals are raised on, to the dry-aging process, to delivery to you, we make sure the customer is satisfied every time. We bring flavor and nutrition to your table.
Our beef is grass-fed, raised on the pasture its whole life. This pastured life has much to recommend it. First, it is good for the animals. Pastured animals tend to be strong and healthy, since their systems are designed for fibrous grasses. Second, it is good for you. Grass-fed meat is lower in calories, fat and cholesterol than its feedlot counterpart. It is also higher in vitamin E, omega 3 fatty acids, as well as cancer-fighting conjugated linoleic acids, or CLAs. Third, it is good for the environment. Pasturing livestock makes sense on a small farm, and can be a steppingstone for change in a larger economy.
Our lamb is also grass-fed, out on the pasture, living a low-stress life that contributes to good health. We also pasture chickens and pigs. The meat is full of flavor, as well as healthy color. This is the result of an active life, and varied diet. You can taste the difference in every bite!
